Elizabethville Jean A Miller, 71 of Wilhour Road., passed away Tuesday, June 19, 2007 at her home. She was born Wednesday, February 12, 1936 in Halifax Twp, PA, Daughter of the late Norman W. Patton and the late Freda Miller Welker. She was a retired supervisor for the Pennsylvania State Government, Harrisburg. She was the widow of Bruce E. Miller She was a member of Salem U.C.C., Elizabethville; Member of the Upper Dauphin Democratic Women's Committee;, and the Local Election Board, Elizabethville; Member of the Hidden Valley Camp Ground, Mifflinburg. . Surviving are Son, George F., husband of Debbie Miller of Millersburg, Daughter, Stephanie, wife of Chris Wynn of Elizabethville, Brother, Larry Welker of Lykens, Sister, Grace Scott of Swedesboro, NJ, Sister, Esther Long of Halifax, Sister, Evelyn Matter of Halifax, Grandson, Todd Miller of Chambersburg, Granddaughter, Edie Miller of Flat Top, WV, Grandson, Rodd Wynn of Elizabethville, Granddaughter, Morgan Wynn of Elizabethville, Granddaughter, Krysta Wynn of Elizabethville. She was preceded in death by a son , Baby boy Miller. Services will be held at Hoover Funeral Homes, Inc., Elizabethville, Friday, June 22, 2007 at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Jeff Wagner officiating. Interment will follow in the Sweitzers Memorial Cemetery, Berrysburg. Viewing at the funeral home on Friday, from 10-11 A.M. Contributions may be made to the Medic 6, P. O. I am so sorry to hear about Jeans passing. She was the best friend that you could have. She gave me many smiles and many laughs. She was such a kind person. and full of fun. Just last Sunday she was trying to sing in dutch for us. I really love her and am going to miss her very much. Please call if you need any thing even if it is to just talk. Love yas Donna

My thoughts and prayers are with you all. I will always remember the good times we had togetheir. I lost my Florida buddy. We had many wonderful times going out different places. I especiallly remember the buffet at Iron Skillet boy were we in trouble. Take Care and I am always there for you all. Please keep in touch.

Sorry for your lost , she was a great cousin and Great Aunt , and a friends as the story flows of her memories will keep her alive. Esther if there anything you need we will help , she was the best friend that anyone could have.

Sorry for your loss. Jean is going to missed greatly. We are going to miss her always asking Joey where his Mickey shirt is because they had the same shirt. Joey is also going to miss sharing her licorice.

Was sorry to hear of Jean's passing. My prayers are with the family. I know you will have a void in your life. I mourn for your family. It is not easy losing a loved one. Always enjoyed the many weeks we went to dinner at Hidden Valley as a group of widows.
